Staff at Greene County Elementary thanked Grow Greene County for donating funds to purchase home learning supplies for students in grades PK-4. Students picked up packets that included paper, crayons, pencils, glue and scissors when they picked up personal items they had left in their classrooms March 13, assuming they’d be returning to school after spring break.
The school is now doing a voluntary extending learning program to meet Iowa Department of Education requirement through the end of the school year. The Grow Greene County donation will help assure all elementary students have supplies they need.
